Hardwicke Hall’s fifteen en-suite bedrooms have been furnished to a high but traditional standard, giving a warm & welcoming atmosphere to arriving guests.
The hotel comprises of Classic, Chapel, Garden, Four Poster & Family rooms all which have been individually designed with period furniture.
Four Poster Rooms
Three of our largest rooms in the house! One with traditional frame on the first floor, the other, on the second floor, specially designed with an inverted frame for the taller guest. Both of these rooms overlooking the west facing lawns. Our third Four poster room situated in the south east corner of the house enjoying double aspect of garden and sea with all the amenities of our Garden View Rooms
Two very different family rooms, one can sleep five – with a double bed in the main bedroom the small connecting room with bunk beds, These sleep one on the top bunk and with a double bed on the bottom there is space for two. Our other Family room is on the second floor overlooking the West lawn. This room has many options. It can be either King and Queen sized beds or as they are both “zip & link” can be unzipped into three or four separate beds with all the amenities of our classic rooms.
Hardwicke Hall Manor was the First property in the North East of England to be licensed for Mass. With its own Private Chapel on the Second floor over looking the service yards and views of the Dene. This small Chapel was converted into 2 bedrooms when the house became a hotel in Eighties. These larger rooms, with some of the original features being retained, have all the amenities of a classic room with the addition of either a Super King Size Bed or two full size single beds.
